Programs at Bloomington, IUPUI again among those "to look for"
The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University continues to offer one of the best experiences for undergraduate students, including those aiming to start their own companies, says U.S. News & World Report, which also designated Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) as an "up-and-coming school."

As a desginated IUPUI Signature Center, the Center for Service and Learning (CSL) and the Center for Service and Learning Research Collaborative (CSLRC), both provide opportunities for faculty, staff and students to engage in issues concerning civic engagement and service learning. Our conferences represent the growth points for scholarship and research focused on service learning and challenge participants to develop collaborations, with fellow practitioners and researchers, that will enhance their work and contribute to a collective understanding of service learning. As a part of our work in the CSL Research Collaborative, we compile resources to support the continued development of service learning on our campus, other campuses and their respective communities.
In the past year, CSL has hosted 2 Symposia of Authors, the 3rd Annual Conference on International Service Learning: Advandced Research and Practice, and will be the hosting site for the 2010 International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) Conference.

The IUPUI Research Academy is an interactive summer workshop to develop skills, learn about methods and literature, develop a research project and advance research related to service learning in higher education. IRA is sponsored by the IUPUI Center for Service and Learning and National Service Learning Clearinghous.
Targeted Audience: Service learning researchers; well-suited for faculty developing research projects, as well as graduate students
