The Annual Jam the Jaguars Bus Food Drive is a great way for IUPUI to show its impact as a community partner and to make a difference. Every year IUPUI fills 3 busses full of donated food which is then taken to over 15 churches or nonprofit shelters that are in need during the holiday season.
Mission Statement: Jam the Jaguars Bus Food Drive is an annual event at IUPUI to collect food for the underpriveleged this holiday season.
Volunteer Opportunity:
Volunteers are needed to ride in the IUPUI bus, November 25, in the morning to pick up food donations from various spots on campus.
Volunteers are also needed in the afternoon, November 25, to load supplies into the bus as well as riding on the bus to deliver the items to numerous food pantires, shelters, and churches around downtown Indianapolis. There will be lifting involved during both shifts.
