Volunteers are also needed to assist with a client self-sufficiency program that covers important areas like budgeting, car maintenance, nutrition planning, housing searches, tutoring, and mentoring.
Potential volunteers must have a commitment to helping others, be at least 18 years of age, undergo a background check, complete a personal interview, and participate in mandatory training. Health screenings may also be required.

PROJECT ANGEL
Every year the Hendricks County Sherriff's Dept. and Project A.N.G.E.L put on a haunted event. This year you can help haunt a corn maze at Beasly's Apple Orchard just east of Danville. In the past years, IUPUI students have enjoyed serving at this event which is entirely run by volunteers, and the maze proceeds benefit the local charity Project A.N.G.E.L. (http://www.hcprojectangel.org/). If you would like to participate in this year’s haunted maze, please fill out this brief online form.
For more information about the event: http://www.scarecrew.webs.com. If you have any questions, please contact Megen Morgan at wingslion@aol.com, and feel free to register to help at this website: http://www.hcprojectangel.org/volunteersignup.html.
