Engaged Department Grants (updated link coming soon)
Grant awards are available to departments committed to developing “civic-minded graduates.” CSL will provide  support  to department teams to articulate discipline-specific civic learning outcomes and sequentially integrate engaged learning experiences throughout their undergraduate programs. Emphasis will be placed on the vertical integration of existing campus level programs (e.g. PULs, Personal Development Planner, RISE courses, Themed Learning Communities, Gateway Courses, etc.) at the unit level.  This alignment will facilitate the development of a discipline-based “civic learning pathway” and aid departments in their efforts to help students develop identities as Civic-Minded Graduates and Professionals.

Faculty Community Fellows Program
To create an impact in the GINI goal areas, the IUPUI Center for Service and Learning committed to reallocating dollars for faculty engagement in the Near Westside community.  As a result, 5 Faculty Community Fellowships received continuing support for the 2009 – 2010 academic year.
