Our conferences represent the growth points for scholarship and research focused on service learning and challenge participants to develop collaborations, with fellow practitioners and researchers, that will enhance their work and contribute to a collective understanding of service learning. As a part of our work in the CSL Research Collaborative, we compile resources to support the continued development of service learning on our campus, other campuses and their respective communities.
In the past year, CSL has hosted 2 Symposia of Authors, the 5th Annual Conference on International Service Learning: Advandced Research and Practice, and was the host site for the 2010 International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) Conference.
