Her favorite experience as a SHJ Scholar:
“As both an FSS and CSS, I have loved getting to be a part of the Sam Jones Family. There is truly something special to be said for the outreach in the community that is built with one another, and the lasting friendships we create when we build each other up.”

Her favorite service project:
“As a CSS, I have had the opportunity to work with the community agency, Faith, Hope, and Love. This organization goes beyond their role as a food pantry and aims to reach Indianapolis neighbors holistically, spiritually, and whole-heartedly for the betterment of the community on their journey towards self-sufficiency.

Her favorite quote:
"Help others and give something back. I guarantee you will discover that while public service improves the lives and the world around you, its greatest reward is the enrichment and new meaning it will bring your own life." - Arnold Schwarzenegger Her favorite snack:

Her favorite snack:
Anything chocolate!

Her advice to new SHJ scholars:
“The Sam H. Jones Program has provided me with opportunities that have shaped my college career and who I am, so be grateful for the opportunity you have been given and know that your SHJ family will always have your back.”
