The CEA program presents an array of opportunities to both undergraduate and graduate students as they work to support faculty- and staff-mentored community-engaged initiatives in and outside of the classroom.
In addition to IEL's annual Engaged Learning Showcase, we want to provide a regular spotlight for CEA scholars who have gone above and beyond the expectations of their mentors and worked on extraordinary projects and feats.
These stories identify some of the exciting community engagement projects that our CEAs work on with their faculty mentors. Although these spotlights are not exhaustive, they show the potential opportunities that CEA scholars can engage with—initiatives and projects that are important and relevant.
