Description:
Greenfield Area Soccer Club [GASC] is a not-for-profit, positive youth development organization helping young people achieve their full potential and through participation in the sport of soccer discouraging them from engaging in risky behaviors. Since 1992, the Greenfield Area Soccer Club has provided a quality soccer program for the benefit of the boys and girls of Hancock and surrounding Counties that promotes a safe environment to foster their growth of self-worth, provide a sense of belonging, promote and create supportive relationships with peers and adults, while having fun, and developing an appreciation for the game of soccer. GASC’s programs provide both youth and adults with responsibilities and meaningful challenges that provide opportunities for skill building at all skills levels and abilities. We offer Recreational soccer, Academy soccer, Soccer camp, Adult leagues, TOPSoccer, and a 5K. GASC is the first member club to earn all five stars through Indiana Soccer 5 Star Program. Our goal is to get kids into healthy activities within the community. Soccer seasons are SPRING and FALL. We are always looking for volunteer coaches that wish to make a difference in youth sports. The requirements for volunteering are: Concussion Training, Safe Sport Training, New Coach Training, Background Check All training is provided online. Staff is available at all times to assist with training/coaching at fields. Spring Season : March - May Fall Season : August - October Dates will vary from year to year.
