GiGi's Playhouse - Down Syndrome Achievement Center Drama Volunteer

Description:
GiGi's Playhouse Indianapolis is proud to offer an inclusive theater troupe for actors of all abilities. Program meets weekly to learn about singing, dancing, and acting. Together we create a 30 minute production that is performed for the community at the end of the semester. Volunteers will be expected to attend 80 percent of rehearsals. Basic theater knowledge, patience, and high energy are required. Volunteers will work with troupe members to help teach simple scenes, songs, and dances. Co-director position is open. Looking for another dependable co-director to assist in directing and managing troupe and volunteers. Rehearsals will be held weekly at GiGi's Playhouse, Saturdays from 1:00 - 2:30 PM. All volunteers will need to complete the virtual volunteer orientation prior to volunteering.
