Service, partnership, and research

The Bringle and Hatcher Civic Engagement Showcase has recognized the impact of service, partnership, and research on the IUPUI campus and in the community. In the past, the Center for Service and Learning has hosted 18 Annual Bringle and Hatcher Civic Engagement Showcases with it most recently being a part of the Engaged Learning Week at IUPUI. The event has previously honored and awarded our Plater Civic Engagement Medallion recipients. The 2020, 2021, and 2022 Poster Showcases were held virtually as part of our Engaged Learning Showcase.

Background

The Bringle and Hatcher Civic Engagement Showcase, which is named in honor of the two founders of the Center for Service and Learning, has connected IUPUI faculty, students, and community partners over the years to honor and to recognize IUPUI’s diverse community engagement activities.
